MICROCHIP SERVICES
Microchipping: BFFL provides microchipping for $20 per pet to help keep families and pets together. Appointments are required, schedule your appointment. This service is provided at both facilities. In order to microchip:
Your pet must be in good health
Your pet must be a minimum of 3 months old and/or 4 lbs
Dogs must be leashed and/or in carriers
Cats must be in carriers
Complete this application before you arrive; it will speed up the process!
Do you have TNR - Community Cat(s) that needs its microchip to be registered to his colony?
As per Laredo city ordinance, "all dogs and cats [must] be registered annually with the City of Laredo Health Department. In order to comply with this ordinance, your pet must be microchipped and have a current unexpired U. S. rabies vaccination certificate."
